Abstract Submission is Now Closed

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) invites contributions to the 2012 National Australian Conference on Evidenced Based Clinical Leadership, Transforming Clinical Leaders to Reform Healthcare, by submitting an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

    Submission of abstracts are invited from:

  • Healthcare Consumers

  • Health Professionals

  • Researchers

  • Health Service Managers


The JBI Conference Committee particularly invites abstracts relating to the conference theme of ‘Transforming Clinical Leaders to Reform Healthcare’.

    The objectives of the National Conference are to:

  • Promote the exchange of knowledge related to evidence-based leadership in health care

  • Explore opportunities for collaboration across health disciplines to promote and support evidence based approached to clinical decision making

  • Share and explore different approaches to evidence utilization at the point of care

  • Encourage clinical leaders and promote and foster leadership skills in clinical settings at all levels

    Please submit your abstract (500 words or less) by the following online method:

  • Download and complete the Abstract Submission form by clickinghere

  • Insert your abstract into the form

  • Email abstract and submission form to kym.elson@adelaide.edu.au

    Submissions will be rated on the following:

  • Overall Quality

  • Relevance to conference theme

Deadline for Abstract Submission has been extended to Friday 11th May, 2012.

If you are successful and your abstract is accepted, you will receive email confirmation by 21st May. Upon receiving this notification of acceptance, authors are required to notify if there is a change in the presenters name by 28th May. All presenters must register to the conference by 8th June.

All authors presenting at the Conference must register and all pay all costs associated with attending the conference.
