Background

The Australian Centre for Community Care (ACEBCC) is a collaborative effort between Blue Care and the University of Queensland School of Nursing. The centre is located within the head office of Blue Care in Toowong, Queensland as part of the Blue Care - University of Queensland Research and Practice Development Centre (RPDC).

The centre has a core team of researchers experienced in evidenced based research and practice to utilise and oversee the systematic review process, identify and implement best practice guidelines, run workshops to disseminate best practice information to our clientelle, and coordinate and perform clinical trials. The centre has an ongoing body of Research Higher Degree students from which clinical trials and studies, and systematic reviews will also be initiated.

Training Programs
The Australian Centre for Community Care (ACEBCC) conducts various training programs to assist clinicians to develop their skills in evidence based practice.. The aim of the workshops is to equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills to identify, appraise and utilise evidence based research as the basis for clinical practice. All workshops involve practical exercises and include facilitators’ notes for future reference.

For more information about the Training Programs contact:
