	Background Canadian home and community care leader, Saint Elizabeth Health Care (SEHC), has partnered with Queen’s Joanna Briggs Collaboration (QJBC) to establish the first Evidence Synthesis Group in North America as part of a prestigious international health research network. As an Evidence Synthesis Group, SEHC conducts systematic reviews of nursing research from a community perspective in areas such as chronic disease management, palliative care, IV therapy and healthy work environments. With ongoing mentorship and support from QJBC, nurses synthesize their findings into a succinct statement that describes the current state of knowledge in a particular area of practice. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2008, Saint Elizabeth Health Care (SEHC) is a Canadian not-for-profit charitable organization that shares its talent and wisdom nationally and internationally through direct care and service, consultation, and education and e-learning to support the transformation of care for families, health organizations and communities. Comprehensive Systematic Review Training All members of the Synthesis group, including the convenor, have completed the required Joanna Briggs Institute Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program
