The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO) School of Nursing (SON) is the only SON within an academic health sciences center in Louisiana, and LSUHSC-NO is considered the flagship academic health sciences center in the state. The SON is engaged with several strategic clinical and academic partners to produce scholarship through generation of new evidence, and evidence synthesis, translation, and utilization. Affiliation with the Joanna Briggs Institution will provide the Louisiana Center for Evidence–Based Nursing at LSUHSC SON a globally-focused approach to improving the healthcare of both Louisiana and world citizens.
