Developing Countries Outreach Program
The Joanna Briggs Institute invites individuals and groups to sponsor the establishment and promotion of all-of-country access to www.jbiconnect.org for countries with developing economies. Sponsorship will provide all of country access to www.jbiconnect.org (or – where on-line access is poor, the distribution of resources on CD-ROM) for doctors, nurses and aid workers in countries across Africa, Asia and the Pacific. It is an important part of the long-term mission of the Institute to build global capacity and to support and facilitate evidence-based practice across the world.
We recognise that there are many potential barriers in for some countries in accessing JBI information which may include language, technology, geography and finance. Given these barriers, it is important to facilitate developing country access to evidence-based resources readily available to health professionals in the developed world. Sponsorship starts from as low as A$1000 per annum.
