The Queensland Centre for Evidence Based Nursing and Midwifery is based at the Mater Health Services. The QCEBNM undertakes a range of clinical research and evidence-based activities focusing on improving the effectiveness of nursing and midwifery care. Educational activities of the Centre are focused on developing the skills and confidence of clinical nursing and midwifery staff in locating, appraising and integrating evidence into their practice. Projects facilitating the implementation of evidence-based practice are also a particular interest for this Centre.
