The ESG is based at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa. The ETG was established in December, 2006. The group convener is Prof. Quinette Louw and the group members are Lynette Crous, Dawn Ernstzen and Jeannine Uwimana. All group members attended the JBI systematic review training in August 2006.The group has completed their first systematic review protocol and is currently completing the review entitled “The Effectiveness of treatment provided by physiotherapists in comparison with general practitioners in the management of acute low back pain in adults.”
