It was founded as the first nursing and midwifery school in Thailand on January 12, 1896 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sri Patcharinthra, queen of King Rama V. The mission of the Faculty of Nursing is to achieve being the world’s leading nursing academic institution. The Faculty of Nursing offers a unique nursing program, both undergraduate and graduate to enhance knowledge and nursing experience in clinical practice, research, teaching and leadership for professional development. A group of faculty members, who had been training of a comprehensive systematic review program offered by JBI, established an evidence translation group and it was approved by JBI since August, 2005. The objectives are to build networks at international level, develop a body of nursing knowledge via systematic reviews, and enhance evidence based practice in nursing.
