The objectives of the international convention are to:
- Promote the international exchange of knowledge related to evidence-based health care
- Advance the science of evidence review, transfer and utilisation
- Explore opportunities for international collaboration between consumers and health professionals from a range of disciplines
- Provide a forum for JBI Collaborating Centres, International Networks & members to contribute to the Institute Mission
Submissions will be rated on the following:
- Overall Quality
- Contribution to Scholarship
- Relevance to conference theme
Submission of abstracts are invited from:
- Healthcare Consumers
- Health Professionals
- Researchers
- Health Service Managers
Abstracts must relate to the convention themes:
- Evidence Synthesis Papers that relate to the systematic review of evidence
- Evidence Transfer Papers that relate to disseminating evidence reports and evidence-based guidelines
- Evidence Utilisation Papers that relate to the implementation of evidence
Important Dates:
Deadline for Abstract Submission: 1 June 2007
Authors will be notified regarding acceptance of their abstract by 1 July 2007
Successful authors must indicate their intent to participate by 24 August 2007
