The Joanna Briggs Institute invites you to participate in the 2010 International Colloquium by submitting an abstract for an oral paper, topic-specific symposium or poster presentation.
Submissions are invited from:
- Health Professionals
- Health Service Managers
- Information Scientists
- Researchers
- Health Care Consumers
- Students
Types of presentations:
- Posters (includes an attended poster session)
- Papers
- Topic-specific symposia of 2-4 related papers
Paper presenters should plan for a 20-minute presentation for a concurrent session. Poster presenters will be expected to attend and discuss their posters during designated sessions. Symposia presenters will have 90 minutes to present a specific topic delivering 2-4 unique papers. Each member of the symposium team must submit a separate abstract of each individual paper but the papers should be bundled together when the group submits their symposium.
Students are welcome to submit abstracts for either poster or paper presentations but they must indicate their student-status on the abstract form.
Paper presenters are eligible for best paper awards. Students who present posters will also be eligible for a best student poster award.
We welcome works in progress but ask that presenters indicate whether they anticipate that their work will be finished by the colloquium in September of 2010.
