Important notice to PACESmate users
As of 3-9-2007, due to updates to our server, PACESmate users are required to download and install the following PACESmate update
Please note: An existing version of PACESmate must be installed on your computer before applying this update.

Instructions
- After downloading, you must run the PACESmate2.exe installer.
- When installation is complete, you must restart your computer.

The JBI PACES program - Practical Application of Clinical Evidence System - is a user-friendly on-line tool designed to make it easier for health professionals to conduct an audit in a health care setting whether large or small. JBI PACES may allow you to compare data with other PACES users of similar size and setting, and offers ideas on how to facilitate a process of change in relation to the use of evidence in practice on a given activity or intervention. |
Clinicians enter data and the task is made easier by using a PACESmate, a handheld computer. Data collected on the PACESmate may be uploaded into the program to compare that data with specific intervention, and then process an audit. The audit highlights areas of concern so they may be addressed.
