Spanish Translations
The Spanish Collaborating Centre is located at the Institute of Health Carlos III and is situated in the Unit for Coordination and Development of Nursing Research of Investen-isciii. The main objective of the centre is to incorporate nursing research into the daily clinical practice. Being the first Spanish-speaking centre, it aims to include the translation of all Best Practice Information Sheets, resources and tools of the Institute into Spanish. The team, led by Teresa Moreno, is composed of a multidisciplinary group of nurses and social and health professionals.
The work is performed with the support of some Spanish regions: Andalucia, Aragón, Asturias, Canarias, Cantabria, Cataluña, Galicia, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia, Pais Vasco and Valencia. There is also a Professional Advisory Forum from these regions that collaborated in the peer review process of the translations.
